Live far away? Gather photos, write who's in them, record your voice, then get them to the tablet: over the phone while you talk, or as one file. The pack is built here on your device; sent over the phone, it travels locked so only their tablet can open it.
On the phone to follow along instead? Jump to the together session box ↓
Photos they'll recognize: family, holidays, pets, the old house. A handful is plenty to start.
The games can greet them in your voice and cheer them on. Lovely, but optional. Skip this freely.
The easiest way by far, and the one to try first. Do this while you are on the phone to whoever is with them. There is no file to send, and nothing for them to find or download.
Ask them to hold the little ⚙️ on the tablet for 3 seconds.
Under 📥 Photos from family, they tap Get photos from family.
They read you the three words that appear. Type those in here.
Your photos are locked before they leave this page, and only their tablet has the key to open them. They travel straight to that tablet while you are both connected, and are never stored anywhere along the way. Nothing already on their tablet is lost.
Use this if you cannot get them on the phone, or if the way above did not work for you.
Add at least one photo first.
Send the file to whoever is with them (WhatsApp, email, anything). It's one file.
On the tablet, save the file (tap it → Save to Files, or Download).
Open sitwithsammy.com, hold the little ⚙️ for 3 seconds to open the helper panel.
Under 💾 Keep a copy safe, tap Restore from a file, pick the file, then “Add to what's here”.
That's it. Their tablet keeps everything it already had, plus your photos and voice. Nothing about this pack touches the internet. The file travels however you send it, and the app itself uploads nothing.
Call them however you always do (phone, WhatsApp, anything). Then ask whoever is with the tablet to hold the little ⚙️ for 3 seconds and tap Start a together session. They'll read you a three-word code; type it here. You'll see which screen is open and where they tap, never their photos, and you can gently suggest a game. Nothing is recorded or stored.
